What is 4D ultra HIFU?

HIFU treatment aftercare

The HIFU treatment is a no downtime procedure. You can go back to your normal life immediately after your procedure.

 

  • Our skin might be a little pink or red in areas following the treatment, only use cool water when washing the face.
  • Expect that the treated area to feel sore to touch for up to 4 weeks.
  • There will be a slight to mild swelling – this is normal. Ice packs and steroid cream can be applied to calm if necessary. If minor scabs appear avoid picking and allow the skin to heal.
  • Makeup (preferably mineral-based) may be applied immediately post-treatment. Soothing, non-irritating creams or moisturizers may be used.
  • You should avoid sun exposure immediately after the treatment and apply a minimum of 30+
  • Avoid exfoliating or products containing aha/BHA’s for at least a week or until all sensitivity has subsided.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise/straining of the treated area(s) for 3-4 weeks. For the first 2 days, post-treatment don’t exert the treated area however light exercise such as walking is fine.
  • Increase protein intake to boost the skin healing and collagen regeneration process.
  • Taking a vitamin c supplement is beneficial for collagen synthesis and is a vital nutrient for skin health.
  • The HIFU treatment does not affect your normal life, please feel relaxed.

How long can the HIFU result last?

The HIFU has a permanent treatment. It will improve gradually for up to half-year following the treatment. You will not be frozen in time. 6 months later, your skin will naturally continue to age but HIFU can give you fresher, younger-looking skin for approximately 2 years after your treatment.

How many sessions do I need for 4D HIFU?
